Q&A with the director
Seven artists and cultural workers talk about work and life in an utopian state of society. How is work organized? What is work? Is there work? And how could we work together?
In the 21st century work is continually individualized to fit the neoliberal market. Artists were part of the “avantgarde“ of this development.
Starting out from a contemporary Berlin Co-working Space the director sets out to explore utopian forms of work. She thus travels to distant utopian societies to talk to people who mainly work artistically and culturally. We both hear them talk about their individual utopian work conditions and see them in a first meeting to develop a common work Utopia.
Living and working in Utopia – what could that be like for an individual and for a fictional society?
A fictional documentary about utopias that seem impossible, but have the potential to unfold if only we believed in their possibility.
