In September 2024, LETsDOK will celebrate its fifth annual showcase of documentary films. With over 300 screenings, film discussions, and special events across the country, this campaign by the Verein zur Förderung der Dokumentarfilmkultur highlights the social relevance and artistic excellence of the genre.
In Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia, anDOKen e.V. and LETsDOK will present a diverse selection of documentaries throughout the month. Events will also be held in rural areas and unconventional venues, blending cinema with discussions to bring these films to life.
The LETsDOK 2024 program also features two films by FILZ members:
WIR WAREN KUMPEL, directed by Christian Johannes Koch and Jonas Matauschek, 104 min.
