An amateur photographer and the documentary filmmaker meet by chance in the German city Leipzig at the new catholic church. While taking pictures a short conversation arises, captured on one of the womens' cameras. Though being of different age and origin, yet they have a connection: the same curiosity for catching (hi)stories. Shot by shot the viewer is able to follow their convergence, as they're going through travel dairies filled with German post-war history and exploring Leipzig nowadays. Who chronicles the (hi)story and who is directing this movie? A getting-to-know through the image, narrated in restful long shots, while both of the women remain mostly behind their devices.
